Michael Ferguson (1958-)

Michael Ferguson was born and raised in the pacific northwest of the U.S. He attended the Burnley School for Professional Art, now known as the Seattle Art Institute. He briefly worked as an illustrator and then an animator for Boeing. 

 

In 1988 he decided to pursue fine art full time, and began working in linocut and painting. He paints landscapes predominantly and often the Cascade Mountains near his home in Renton, Washington. The artist also enjoys painting seascapes and cityscapes.

 

He is still actively working in Washington, and his work can be found in galleries and private collections across the country.
