A California Impressionist Painting of the Inyo Mountains
From 2006-2019, the month of May at Galerie Gabrie was known as “Muench Month”, the month when we consistently presented new paintings by the California painter. In doing so, we made a major contribution to the formation of his artistic legacy, reputation, and career.
It is a known fact that not every painting, created even by historic artists, is a masterpiece. Thus, Galerie Gabrie has discerningly been selective about the paintings offered through the gallery enabling collectors to buy with confidence while simultaneously building a reputation for quality…
that’s what good galleries do!
As is customary in the art world, paintings can reappear on the market for any number of reasons. Collectors turn to us for assistance which, in turn, offers us the opportunity to again be selective, securing only quality works for the next generation of collectors. After all, collecting is a form of stewardship.
The best part of this equation?
Not being bound by retail commitments, we are often able to offer works below market value passing that savings on to the consumer.
No unknown, no waiting, no negotiating, no auction stress…it’s a win, win!
